INDIA SELECTS A TEAM FOR THE ASIAN MEETS ORGANISED BY ABBF

The selection trial for 43rd Asian Men's Bodybuilding Championship to held at Pattaya Thailand, from 11-17th of August 2009 took place in the beautiful city of Bangalore - India on 21st June in Kormangla Indoor Stadium.It was organized by the active unit of IBBF,Karnataka State Bodybuilding Association.(KSBBA)Mr.Betta Gowda President KSBBA Mr.Gangadhran Executive President KSBBA,Mr.M.Chandren General Secretary and the other dedicated members of KSBBA did a wonderful job to organize this selection trials.

Datuk Paul Chua Secretary General-ABBF was the chief guest of this programme.Mr.M.R Seetaram a renowned political social activist and businessman of Karnatka and Chief Patron of KSBBA was the Guest of Honour. Executive Director of ABBF Ms Christina Kam was Special Guest along-with Mr.Baba Madhok President IBBF,Mr.Amit Swami E.D IBBF.Mr.G.S.Nayak General Secretary IBBF Mr.Sunil Walia Treasurer IBBF and all the officials of IBBF were present in this selection trials.

Bodybuilders from all over India recommended by recognised units of IBBF participated in this selection trials.The Bodybuilders mention below have been selected for Juniors & Masters championship to be held at Pattaya, Thailand in the month of October and for Senior Men's Bodybuilding Championship Tehran(Iran).

Dr.Tushar Sil of Ordinance Sports Board(Govt of India)has been selected as team Coach and Mr.Balbir Singh Secretary Haryana unit and Chief Coach Indian Railways Bodybuilding team has been selected as team manager for Indian team.
