The new team of officials in the Indian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federtion (IBBF) are now fully recognised by the Indian Olympic Committee.

 

 

Members of the Indian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation and all bodybuilders and enthusiasts in India are rejoicing the recognition granted by the Indian Olympic Committee to the IBBF on February 3, 2009. Amit Swami the Executive Director of the IFBB and Asst. Secretary of the ABBF said: "This is the best present for the New Year and best piece of news for the IBBF. It will certainly encourage our athletes to be motivated to train hard and bring glory to our motherland India. We will continue with our anti-doping programme agressively and work closely with IOA to be in line with their policies".
